The Civil War

Werewolves fought in the Civil War, or the War Between the States as it was called in the South. Do you know which side had the most fighting? Do you know if they revealed their true nature?
Not everything about these creatures has been revealed in our history books.
You know where to look for the answers. Volume III will tell the story.

The Origin

The origin of werewolves will be revealed in Volume IV of the Huckleberry Finn Werewolf Slayer series. I'm open to guesses, and may even tell you if you are right. A hint; it's not Transylvania!

Hiding in Plain Sight

Werewolves are not something you can readily pick out, like albinos or others affected by something that makes them appear different from the rest of "normal" society.
Unless a werewolf makes himself known to you, in his human form, you would probably not give him a second look. But...if you observe closely you may pick up some traits such as increased nervousness on an approaching full moon, a change to eating meat more rare than before and a tendency to sniff the air on occassion.
These are small, but improtant details that could come in handy.
If they are part of a pack, there may be marks on the body or certain jewelery or clothing common to the pack members. The members will usually defer to the pack leader or alpha male when gathered in groups.
Keep your eyes open.

Origin

What is the originating location of werewolves? Many cite Transylvania, as it was in the Carpathian mountains that the legend of Count Vlad Dracul, Dracula, was born. It is true that this area has been home for lycanthropes for centuries, but it is not the origin of the species. It is in fact, the nursery of sorts.
The true origin is not revealed until book three of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Werewolf Slayer.
A hint....no, you will have to wait.
